Iris is in 2016 afgestudeerd aan de Fontys Hogeschool te Eindhoven waar ze de opleiding Podotherapie heeft gevolgd. Dit heeft ze gedaan nadat zij in 1991 als zelfstandig pedicure is begonnen.
Iris is tevens Oncologisch & Manueel Podotherapeut.
